Creative Wedding Gift Registries

Picture yourself on an ultimate honeymoon getaway to the romantic sites of Paris with the one you love or a chance to purchase that two-story dream home you’ve always wanted with the white-picketed fence.  Now, imagine your friends and family helping you achieve your goals with wedding gift registry alternatives.
Registries are a great resource for guests to figure out which gift to give the bride and groom.  Find out how you can arrange the perfect gift whether you are soon to be married or you are attending a wedding.  Here are some great options…

Hatch My House helps you save towards your future home whether it’s a down payment, furniture or improvements.  You can also design your own virtual home.

Honeyfund provides a registry for couples to go on exotic locations and make their dreams happen in a once-in-a-lifetime kind of way.

Foodie Registry allows you to register for romantic nights at some of the most popular and delicious restaurants in your city.  The great thing about this registry is that you can also use it for other occasions as well, such as birthdays.

I Do Foundation raises money for your favorite charity by donating up to 10% of the gift purchases with one of their partner stores.  It’s the ultimate way to share your love and to give back.

Green Bride Guide offers housewares and other green products that are made from environmentally friendly materials or use production processes that reduce the impact on the environment.  This is a great way to help save our planet.

Also, all of these registries are free to sign-up, which is a great additional plus.  Click on the registry links for more information and happy shopping!

Featured on Style Me Pretty-Destination Wedding

We're always thrilled when one of our couple's wedding gets featured. It's especially rewarding after all of the time we have spent designing, ordering, emailing, refining and coordinating! Miwako and Craig were so fun to work with and their refined taste came through in the look and feel of their wedding. Thanks to Style Me Pretty for featuring their wedding in the Destination Wedding Blog. You can see more photos on the SMP blog or on our previous blog post.

Featured on Wedding Chicks-Ka'a'awa Proposal

I love surprises so when I had the chance to help Jordan plan a romantic proposal to Chelsey I jumped right in! Ka'a'awa Valley at Kualoa Ranch, amid a green valley surrounded my lush mountains, was the perfect location for Jordan's proposal. Jordan and Chelsey's engagement was featured on Wedding Chicks and you can read all about their love story and the very special day that Chelsey thought was a going to birthday scavenger hunt. Surprise!

20 Must-Haves for the Big Day

While hoping that everything will go as planned, a bride can sometimes get a little nervous for her big day.  However, like anything else in life, it’s important to be prepared for any situation that could unexpectedly arise.  Before I started my internship with Seasons of Life Events, I never really thought about carrying emergency items with me for the bridal party.  Then I realized that brides don’t often have pockets in their dresses, nor do they have the time to be worrying about carrying emergency items.  Not to worry, we’ve got you covered!

Here are some great essentials that you can include in your mini emergency kit, just like the wedding coordinators of Season of Life Events do, whether you choose to do it yourself or purchase your own…

20 Must-Haves for the Big Day

 Hairspray
 Clear nail polish
 Nail polish remover
 Emery board
 Earring backs
 Clear elastics
 Sewing kit
 Double-sided tape
 Stain remover
 Pain reliever
Tampons
Deodorant towelette
 Breath freshener
 Dental floss
 Adhesive bandages
 Facial tissue
 Blotting tissues
 Bobby pins
 Antacid
 Extra costume wedding bands

If you don’t have time to look for these items, emergency kits are available for all occasions including weddings.  All of these items come in a cute little stress-reliever that can fit in the palm of your hand, whether you prefer silver, gold, aquamarine or pink.  These little kits also make great bridal party gifts as well!
